im in the market now for a 450. Im still building my 250r but I am gonna buy a 450 to ride until my 250r is finished. I am looking at the yfz450, suzuki ltr450, and the new kawasaki 450. I like the new kawasaki a lot and was wondering if anyone owns one on here. Id like to hear some feedback and opinions on each of the three bikes. No i do not want a new honda 450r, sorry honda guys just dont like the way they look for some reason. Also i know there will be biased people posting but please be open to all 3 choices and please list some pros and cons or just an opinion on them. Thanks yall!

Get a YFZ450:D
But seriously, all the 450s today are all pretty much equal...

BTW I live like 10 minutes from you:scary:

I would get an ltr because if your looking to do mx it is pretty much ready to go right off the showroom floor. It also is great for any type of riding and you dont need too much too hop up the engine because they already come pretty quick.

really? where at?

I went today to look at the kawi and the suzuki and i love the wide stance the suzuki has off the floor. Really no need for aftermarket arms on it or anything like that. The yfz is a fun bike to ride as its the only 450 i have ever ridden. I cant make up my mind on them lol, but i will have one of the 3 soon :D

Go check out the KFX450 forum on this site, it seems to be a pretty impressive bike from what I have read in there.

i really like the stance of the ltr in stock trim. Ive read some of the KFX450 section. It does seem very impressive IMO. Most likely it will be in between those two bikes, just gotta decide and find a place that has a cheaper price than $7999

Someone said in the KFX forum that ebay has some for good prices, check there, he said free shipping and stuff on them so that could work...

that ltr does look like it could be a beast for sure. Is it true about what some have said about it? That you can put a pipe on it and go mx'ng with it with no problem?

You will probably be OK if you put a exhaust on it without tweeking the EFI but if you put motor work in it I would highly advise you setting the EFI for your needs.

sweet! I think im gonna go with the ltr. I dont need reverse, where i ride i would never need it. Do they make a kick start for it? Id like to have that also for back up incase the electric start doesnt work

You could .. but youd prolly be running a bittt lean, if you just invest another $30 bucks in a cherrybomb and remove the airbox lid youd be good to go bro.
