I am goin to start racin harescrambles what is the first mod i need to do---all stock so far except for handguards

I would invest in some nerf bars, maybe some new tires, and a bigger bumper up front. Thats all you pretty much need. oh and a kill switch if you need to have one to race and a bigger gas tank with a quick fill would help.

13 tooth front sprocket and the HRC kit is a great addition for XC racing.

yeah skids too forgot all about them...heres what I would do if money wasnt a problem

PRM summit bumper, PRM belly pan, PRM swinger skid 1/4 inch, Razr2/HiPer all around, IMS tank, IMS heelgaurds, IMS foot pegs, Procircuit pipe, Flexx bars, GPR stabelizer, 13/39 gearing, Pro Design kill switch, Lonestar DC-4/Custom Axis frontend, rear shock revalve, and a TC woods cam or Baldwin XC cam

why is everyone telling him to get a tank?!?! At both the florida and georgia GNCC races, i could take the cap off the stock tank and still see gas...:eek:

During the really open 2 hour races I would have to turn it on reserve on the last lap.

i will second that.......... also gt thunder XC link so it doesnt throw you off as much.....STRONG BUMPER

yeah but your not running a stock motor. I mean if he wants to let him. I ususally just leave my tank on reservce any way because I know i can make it. I use 1.9 gallons in a 1 hour 45min muddy race. I use about 1.5 in a really fast 1 and a half hour race. Thats on a stock quad with only the HRC end cap.

you need prm skid, some dg nerf, ims tank, spark pipe ,prm sumet bumper,a killswitch, and a HRC kit it gives more rpm and more torke.
