Well I have decided to get a piston and cam so I want to know where the hit from a piston comes in. Is it an all around increase or is it low-mid range or mid to high range. Thanks
BTW I am getting a Wiseco 11.1 if that makes any differance.

Just depends on your set up.....I.E.> what cam you decide to go on and if you have any porting done.....porting can make a night and days difference on a quads performance. :macho

The motor is completely stock. What would you prefer stage one or two I think I am going with the stage two but still not sure.

depends on what you want out of your quad.....whether it be bottom, mid or high end power. The 400's are pretty torque on the low end, so I would go with a stage 2 and an 11:1 piston.....maybe a mild port job on the head and she should impress you. If you really wanna go the extra mile, an FCR carb will treat ya right, too. ;)

one more thing.........dont cut any corners...go ahead and get HD studs and cam chain, etc.

Ok so I have finally made up my mind that I am going with a 416 kit. What all will I need for this?? :macho

416 piston,a camshaft would be good, a new cam chain, some new valves, need to bore the cylinder out to fit the new piston, gaskets and thats pretty much it If I remember right when my friend did his.

Everything listed above is correct, but new valves are not necessary unless you absolutely want them. All new gaskets are necessary and with the 416, you can bore the stock sleeve and have it repressed in....when you go to have the sleeve bored, take the machine shop your piston, so they can bore the sleeve to your piston. ;)

Other than that.......git-er-done.
