Help...need some info on my YFZ.....

well i was riding my 04, 450 the other day and the motor locked up. i hit the start button over and over and finaly got it to turn over. I have had different people say different things abotu whats wrong with it some said it was my rod and crank and others said it was just my piston. what do you think it is and how much do u think its going to cost me to fix???

we just had a similar problem, It was the crank bearing. The good part was it did not tear anything else up. GOOD LUCK!

It could be a bunch of things. i have seen several drop valves, a few break and bend the rod, and a couple break the piston skirts. hopefully its none of those problems though.

yeah im hopeing its just the piston or something cheap....thanks guys...
