exhaust end caps?

i have a procircuit t4 system and i see on there web page i can buy different size end caps. what do you benefit from having a bigger or small end cap?

the bigger ones add top end, the small ones add bottom. i could tell a good difference between 2 sizes on my 300ex. you will loose at one end what you gain on the other tho.

the small ones are also quieter

Mostly a personal preferance and how/where you ride. If you do alot of high rpm riding then go with something that adds top end. If you do alot of low rpm "torqing" around then go with that route. bradley is right... It usually comes out in a wash... One isnt going to make you faster then the other, there isnt that big of a differance.
