Hello,
Please specify the brake pads type for TRX400EX5 (2005 model year). Interested in Vesrah, Nissin or any other well known brand.

im using EBC severe duty pads and there holding up.

i think the best thing i did was to get rid of the ebrake....i never used it but it seemed to wear out my pads.

I tried using tusk and EBC and neither did very well for me. I purchased another set of OEM pads from the dealer and they've held up tremendously. just my 2 cents

I use the dp brake pads, they are pretty expensive but imo they work really well for XC Riding.

Yeah, I heard alot of good things about the dp brakes. I will probably get some of those when I need new pads again.

Perhaps my question was incorrect. I need an identifier (like "VB157") to ask in a store. Most of russian stores have no parts books.

hope this helps EBC #FA84SV.

and the pads are the same all the way around.

get an ebake blockoff plate.....it will save your brake.

personally i like ferodo pads. pretty cheap, and last longer than vesrah. never tried DP, EBC are junk IMHO, and never tried stock either.

the tusk brand pads are made by EBC, I usually get Brakin brand or factory Yamaha pads , they are cheaper than the Honda, and Kawasaki pads which are all made by Nissin

one question, always wondered, everone always says they put new pads and it stops faster but what does it really help but from lasting longert cause all pads will stop the same cause after so far the tires will lock up, so really your not stopping any faster with different pads just some may last longer then others.

I bought a set of Tusk front pads and they were too thick and cuased my rotor to drag big time. I would not recomend buying tusk brake pads. I will have to send them back and will probably go oem from now on.

I have had problems getting the EBC Heavy Duty pads to fit too but they seem like the only pads that will last...
