Help I need ball joints

Hey, I know it was posted before... what is the ford van or whatever you can use the tie rod ends as ball joints for aftermarket a-arms. I have merrell extreme a-arms, and the ball joints have almost enough slop in them to pull the ball right out. Let me know, Thanks

well for lonestar a arms its a ford courier van i dont know about anything else.

quad041 is right about the lonestar's. the year is 79 or 80 and it's the inner tie rod.

they won't work for houser or laeger because the top end is too large. i have three extra used ones i'll sell ya that'll fit houser and laeger. they're extras that i don't need.

I have merrell extreme a-arms, I am pretty sure they are the same as the lonestars.. I am gunna pick one up tomarrow and try it out, thanks. .Razor, if it works I will take your extras off your hands. I will let you know when I try.. Thanks

keep in mind that mine won't work for the lonestars, but if yours aren't the same as the lonestars, then mine will probably work for you. let us know what you find out.
