what do u guys think of gettin a new toyota crewmax or whatever theyre called.we'r ford ppl but my dads not to impressed by the new f-250 motor.he test drove the toyota n he said it was the ****.ive heard its supossed to be the fastest truck out[besides the srt].it may be a foreighn comp., but i think its the only truck made in america:ermm: . if u would give me ur opinions on the new toyotas. thnks

The new toyota is quick and powerful, I was impressed when I test drove it, Id say def. go for it, it will last forever...

well soi far i have not heard any reall good reviews on the new yota. i have teh motor is good, great power, but the overall truck is not that great. the interior is cheap, the exterior lacks in the looks dept, and other than a good motor not that great of a truck.


i would look into the new GMT900 platform trucks (2007 model GM's) all the engines have received a bump in power, and IMO is a great looking truck (pics don't do it justice) they are great trucks, hopefully my next truck will be a a GMT900 based D-max

my dad owns a toyota dealership and ill tell u what that new truck is the best thing ive ever drove. and actually believe it or not out off all the half ton trucks the tundra is first then the titan. but overall the truck Hauls ***

Yeah, I hear it has a lot of hp this year and can tow alot. But I like toyotas because if you take care of them right, they will last you a long time. But that chevy duramax is sweet too.:devil:

i went out and looked at the toyota when we were buyin our new truck 2 weeks ago and they are DAMN NICE!!!! we have a 1995 toyota t-100 with 200,000 miles still goin strong...

i just couldn't justify 2 things with them... #1 was the way higher cost then the chevys and #2 the most important for me the gas mileage... the chevy is gettin me 20+ and the tundras was gonna do 15ish... the toyota was def a stronger more powerful motor but it wasn't worth it to me...

honestly any of the new trucks with the exception of the dodge are pretty kickass... i know i love my new 07 chevy and wouldn't trade it for anything!

Really? Right now they have been pulled off the lots for a software upgrade. Watch the video below... Yea, thats a well engineered motor!

...and what is Fords fix for this? Upgrade the software - if it detects this condition, your truck will shut down on you until it cools down or you experience a MAJOR power loss. Nice feature if you ask me! Your pulling a load down the highway, then your truck shuts down.

the smaller v8 is around 20ish

the 5.7 in the toyota with 381 hp... the chevy that was a 6.0 with like 370 i believe was 19mpg estimated...


i don't want a motor under 300 hp..
