trx 450r vs predetor 500

my buddy has a 06 predator and he is conviced that it will smoke all the 450s i dont think it will i personally dont think that they are that fast o by the way the 450 is an 04 with an hrc kit

A Predator will not beat a 450R, especially one with the HRC kit. My buddy had a Pred before his LT-R450 and even with stuff done to it, it wouldn't beat a 450, mainly because they're heavier. I guess a lot of it depends on the rider though.

well i think the only thing the predator will beat you on is top speed. I think but your gonna pull the hole shot on him like a sinch and mostly just kick his a**.

I have raced a predator up a hill at the sand dunes and got him by like two lengths.The 450 should be able to beat it though.

the predator, even the 525 outlaw do like 70 which is like the stock top end as a banshee, a 450 will do like 75-80 i was actually suprised that the outlaw 525 was not much faster in dirtwheels they said they both do 70 in top they said the 525 pulls harder but that was it

I own both, and my 450 will smoke my pred every time. The predator is just too heavy. Lots of good power, but the weight holds it back.

If both of them ar stock and both know how to ride it wood probably a close race but the 450r will pull away

my buddy has a 500 and i walk him with my yfz450 but when im out of gear he walks right by me

ya the 450r would win the predtors ant that good they are over rated i think anything made by polairs is sucky except for some utilty. In nw ohio 1 out of 10 people have a polairs. And in ohio almost every one in the country/rural area have a atv. My dad has a old polairs trail boss thing and i hate it my 450-r blows it out by 5 atv lengths..

If its stock u will beat it, but if he has an exaust and intake mod look out. Predators have alot of power thats hidden in there exaust and intake.
