I just had the valves adjusted and the mechanic said the Rod is knocking and I have to replace it. I was wondering if you guys know of any aftermarket ones that are stronger than stock one. If so can you give me a website that has one.
A mechanic I just talked to said it would cost $918.54. Is there anything I can do besides paying that price? I think I am going to try it myself with the help of my grandpa. What are all the parts I need? Any help would be greatly appreciated. And also does anyone know the difference between valve tap and rod knock. thanks
