Red A-arms on Yellow EX?

Does anyone have red arms on a yellow EX? I"m thinking about going red with mine, or black. WHat do you all think? I'm just keeping it stock parts, its a trail machine. But want to do some custom colors, its stock 01' right now. Yellow/black

Agree with Honda300 ^^^ Go yellow with black. Yellow and red are great if you are trying to make your quad look like it came from McDonalds.

yellow black. also you said your keeping it stock? you cant pc stock arms. so i hope your getting aftermarket arms

Because heat is used to cure the powder and it will melt the parts inside the balljoints. The exception would be if you have stock a arms that have removable balljoints like the early style 250r a arms.

Dont do yellow and red... thats hard on the eyes lol. Ill post a pic of mine, I just went the yellow and black route... I know the shocks are red lol, I dont have my black covers on it yet. Relax Ill get around to it.

I'm just painting the OEM's Black for now, don't have the cash for aftermarket Arms right now. I'm going to be putting Arm guards on anyway.

Besides, Powder Coating is over rated IMO, yeah its better, tougher, but its not indestructable, it can come off, been there, done that.

Personally I don't mind the Red a-arms with yellow, black is just to plain for me. I remeber seeing a SICK set of red Roll arm's on a yellow ex that looked great, but i guess Roll's look trick whatever color they are...

Well my plastics are yellow, and my a-arms are red and it looks like garbage... But thats my opinion.

Well if I was going to go Red, I was thinking a Metallic Darker Red, not Mcdonalds red LOL!

The black looks badass but plain to me. I think a good metallic Red would look trick, but until I see one I'm not convinced. Those look pretty dark red.

I don't like the Honda Red on the OEM springs, too orange. I'm looking for some contrast of the silver frame mostly. Maybe I'll do a metallic black. I'm going to ponder for about a week here....hmmmm

Jerry your bike looks pretty good man. I think red arms with yellow plastic isnt generally a good combo, but can made to be good looking, it all depends what shades of the color, and also what other colors you have going on... I know yellow plastics with OEM red seats are NASTY!!!
