Hard kickstart after HRC Kit install.

I just had the hrc kit installed on my 04 450r and now i can barely kickstart it.Im a pretty big guy and it very tough to kick.What could cause this and will it ever start to get easier.

Recheck the timing, the valve lash, and the decompressor adjustment gap.

Do you mean hard to start or hard to push down the kcker starter?

I mean the kicker is very hard to push down.It starts right up but it takes everything i got to get the kicker pushed down.I talked to the guy that did the work and he said it might be the cam chain tensioner.He said the decompressor valve was adjusted to .50.The manual says exhaust valves .28+.25 for the new cam.Does that sound right?Anybody else got any ideas.Im not going to ride it anymore till i get this fixed because i dont wanna break anything.

Your decompressor clearance is too large. You'll need to open it back up and adjust it to the spec in the HRC manual.
