got to ride my friends 450r today

i gave a friend of mine a ride home from school today and i noticed in the back of his garage there is a honda but not quit sure what kind so i ask him and hes like "oh thats my 450r" and i was like you liar and he was like well if you dont believe me go look so i went in and looked and i was a 450r and i managed to talk him into letting me ride it. i will say that if i had the chance to trade my $1300.00 brew bmx racing bike for a 450r, i would make the trade. i have never rode anything with so much power, i thought i wanted a 125 dirtbike but now i want a 450r really bad. the only things i didnt like was how it handled trails, it had a little bit of understeer until i gave it gas to powerslide around turns and i had a little trouble with taking off in 1st gear and no reverse but other than those little things i fell in love

Haha, I know the feeling. I was at Jordan's (JRP) house and he let me ride his 450 a few times. Its funny how you feel like your flying on a 300, and then you hop on a 450 and you get that same feeling in 1st and 2nd gear....:D

Yeah, when I had my atc185s and I rode a blaster I was hooked and have kept moving up until now I have a trx450r.:)

I went from a 1987 110cc Mojave to a 2006 YFZ450. I had a period of about 7 years with out a quad between them. lol.

About 2 years ago I road a sport quad for the first time. It was my buddies brand new 2004 450r. I could not beleive the power. Now I have a 04 450r motor with a cam and pipe. I rode a stock 450r the other day and I wanted to put my feet doun and start running because it felt so slow.

Then this past winter I drove my fathers Full out Drag racing snomobile set up for the 1/8th. 200hp/400lb sled. I had a grin on my face for a week.

Then I jumped on my 250r when I bought it and was in for an even bigger surprise.

No flame but that 2-stroke punch will get you, It snaps way harder than the 450r.

I rode a 265 n thought it felt slow as hell compared to my piped 06 450r.

nah dude, the 450r is way way faster than a 250r...trust me, i have a built 86' and a built 04'

i went from a 300ex to a stock 450r. and wow, it was CRAZY!!! I couldnt imagine a quad being as fast as it was, lol. But now that i have a dasa exhaust and a hotcam stg 2, my quad rips soooo much better than stock!:devil:

what kind of $1300 bmx bike do you have i got a quad im trying to sell or trade pm and let me kno its a brew. you cant buy them as a complete bike, only as a frame so i had to build it from the ground up and regular frames are $375 but i had mine custom built for my size so that was $400 and the frame and all the parts i have on it added up to just a little under $1300. its sad to say my bike is worth more than my car is. but yea the 450r has all the power ive ever dreamed of. i couldnt get it any higher than second gear cause of the size of the yard but as soon as i shifted into second i didnt think it would have as much power as it did in first so i pretty much mashed the gas and the front came up just as high as it did in first gear and about put me on my arse:D . i about hit a tree in his trails because of a little bit of understeer but i quickly learned that the brakes work very well:p . i also test rode a yfz a month or so back at the yamaha dealership but i just putted around the parking lot, they wouldnt let me open her up but im a tall person and i felt cramped as hell on the yfz but i felt that i had plenty of room on the 450r

if you guys are looking for "snappy" power ride a piped banshee
