I do alot of freshwater fishing.

Mostly bass

biggest bass ive caught was 4 pounds :ermm:

I just don't have any good fishing spots around me that have nice size bass.

I fish mostly at my uncles ponds and there isnt anything over 4 pounds in there.

One day I hope to find a good spot with nice sized bass.

Im an avid fisherman as well. I fish for small mouth bass, crappy, blue gill, catfish, and carp (sometimes). My favorite to catch are small mouth, but my favorite to fish for are crappy and catfish.

I fish 2-3 times a month. I mostly fish Large Mouth Bass and Rainbow trout but every once in a while I head out to the Beach for some Surf perch. Biggest rainbow I have caught was a little over 7lbs and the biggest bass was an 8lber. I'm actually going on a fishing trip this weekend to the Kern River/Lake Isabella area in the Sierras here in CA. If this thread is still active when I get back I'll post up my catch.

I fish as often as I have a person to go with normally. In the summer I'm either riding or fishing.

Yeah, fishing is definitely fun, I just love the adrenaline rush when you set the hook and land the fish into the boat or wherever your fishing off of. Cant beat the feeling. Cool lots of riders and fisherman.:D

Striper fishing is a rush because those suckers put up such a fight. I also like catfishing because I usually go late at night in the middle of the lake or the deepest part and just sit there and wait for them to jerk the pole and when they do, oh man, those things take forever to reel in. I caught a flathead and it took like fifteen minutes to get it to the boat. Fun times though, I also like bluegill fishing with just a line tied to a stick and you can sit by the shore and catch hundreds of those little things.

Fishing is my number one passion . From May to October , 90% of the time I'm out on the water fishing . All our fishing is done in freshwater .... fishing for northern pike , walleye , speckled trout and the occasional bass . In the winter time , we sometimes do ice fishing ... but as the years go on , I hate the cold weather more and more ... so ice fishing isn't done as much as before.

I live in a fisherman's paradise . If anyone ever wants a GREAT fishing experience , let me know and I'll be a guide for a week .

Next time I'm up at the cottage , I'll take a few pictures of a 15 lbs Pike we have mounted and of a few 8-10 lbs walleye . And my mom's 5 lbs small mouth bass.

trout in the box. we do alot of night fishing here in the summer. it is alot cooler. you pull up to a platform tie off and fish the lights. the lights attract shrimp and other small baitfish and the trout come for the feast. we also fish the surf on the barrier islands.

i live in steel head alley so i thrive on steelhead fishing... i caught my biggest steelie to date just last tuesday 12 pounds 34" on 4# test with a 9ft noodle rod (light action).. its a blast nuthing like the sound of the drag screaming.. the creeks i fish are challinging because there so narrow and a lot of my favorite holes are grown up with brush.. im planning on a salmon trip this year to new your but from what i here pound for pound a salmon dosnt fight as hard as a fresh steelie.. i do a lot of fishing in the summer muskies are fun but i prefer the fight of a early fall steelie over anything..

mahi mahi aka dolphin

Troutman, were you that close to shore when you caught that? I've never caught one less than 10 miles offshore. Nice catch by the way.

Yea its a mahi mahi, I just call it dolphin tho, guess its the area... but we were about in 700 ft of water when we got that one which is 7-8 miles offshore, but we have caught them in as close as 2 before, they are everywhere, down here your in 100ft of water at 3 miles so the fish are close. Also the western edge of the gulf stream comes within 3 to 5 miles of us depending on the time of year so that brings the fish close also, we have seen sailfish in 20 ft of water right outside the inlet before and people catch sailfish, kingfish, and dolphin off of the pier down here every once in awhile...

hmm im kinda funny lookin in that pic too, oooh well lol.

Here are some wahoo me and a friend got in the bahamas...

Opening day for trout season was today, although the sudden weather change from 75-25 degrees threw the little buggers out of whack. I think there were only 3 six inchers pulled out all day. I'll be fishing all this spring break though... But for bass
