Front MX Tires

Well i was just wondering what you guys think about front tires. I was looking at the Kenda Klaw fronts because they are a reasonable price but are they any good? Gonna buy 20in tires so let me know what you guys prefer for MX.Front and rear combos would help to because im gonna need some 18in rears here soon.

depends on terrain, but I like Holeshots

from my expierence holeshots flat out hook up the best. kenda tires are a good all around tire but wont have u in the first corner the fastest

holeshots are expensive and seem really soft to me.Like they would wear out really fast

I had some issues with my quad pushing in the corners. so I bought holeshots. 2 weeks later they where bald, see pic. It was wicked funny when I was kicken but at the race track with bald tires.


So I bought some kendas, the dont last as long as the razar front tires seem to. But they where the right price.

Yeah, kendas klaws are good tires that would work if you dont want to go through tires so often, like others said, holeshots hook up the best in mx tracks but are super soft and wear out faster than kendas. I run kenda klaw 20's up front and since tracks here in arizona are pretty dry, I run 18 inch turf tamers in the rear. I used to run holeshots but they wear out really fast and I dont have money to be changing them so often but if I did I would definitely get the holeshots. The fronts are really good too. They wont wear out as rear holeshots because there is not so much going on up front.

My buddies got Klaws all around.. he says they hook up REALLY well when you want them too and they are reversalbe.. so loose terrain you turn them one way and hard packed the other. really really good for the money he spent on em!:)

klaws for the fronts are a good idea. i had them and they were good, the rears sucked though! I got the holeshot sx's(pricey) but they are deffinately a badass tire! They hook up like crazy on hardpacked and real good on loose soil. Helped me get the holeshot:devil:

I think Holeshot came out with a hard pac tire for mx.I think the SX holeshot.
