anyone know about 04 450r recalls

i am looking to buy my uncles 04 450r with an HRC kit and was wondering if there were any recalls

I bought my 04 new and have not received any info on recalls or seen any here.

The 06 or 07 has ball joint and throttle recalls I believe. The only thing about the 04's and 05's are the cranks. But that's up to you how much you are going to worry about it. Some fail at 10hours and some at 400+ hours, I'll take 400 hours anyday lol.

All you have to do is look over the oil each time to make sure no shaving are in it. Some show signs before they go, but some do not.

what causes them to go i think that honda has had the most problems with there 450 i dont think i am going to worry, it was my uncles he bought it new he lived in chicago so you can tell how much he rode, up and down the street a few times and went to the badlands 2 times
