how come if you pull up on the suspension on most bikes it will go higher before the rear tires leave the ground it almost sits into the supension

The type of shock and linkage combination controls how much rear wheel travel you have. It's all about how much money you want to spend.

This is what is referred to as the amount of "sag" in your suspension. This is typical of a shock with zero preload capability.

everything sags, even stock shocks. One reason is to abtain a good ride height and the other is so u can have a lot more travel with out sitting too high. This is for jumps so while in the air the rear shock is fully extended to stop bottoming out, but while on the ground u don't need all that travel so it sags for ride height , giving u good cornering abilitys

Like the others said its your quads sag. You could probably adjust it if it is able to be adjusted. Mine does that too.

they are right. its shock sag, its a good thing and every shock does it.
