HST Exhaust systems have been racing successfully for four years in South Africa in some of the harshest racing conditions in the world. They were originally branded under the name of “Belcherbuilt” and have won everything there is to win on the South African Off -Road Racing Circuit. Their product currently holds the All African Championship and The South African National Off-Road Championship with their Factory Rider Brendan Badenhorst. HST Exhaust Systems are designed by South African, Deon Belcher, but have always been manufactured in Orange County; So Cal. Deon was Honda South Africa’s Factory Racing ATV

and Motorcycle MX and Off-Road Team manager. In 2006 his teams won every championship series they entered, a remarkable achievement. In South Africa, Deon used PEP suspension on his teams ATV’s and Motorcycles and continues that Relationship here with Chad and Harold. Deon Belcher and his wife Abigail are now based in Orange County. Their Exhaust System was the number one selling exhaust in South Africa, and due to popular demand, Deon and Abigail took the opportunity to expand their product world wide. There have been rumors for a long time that there is a pipe in Africa that blows everything away, finally they have decided to share it with the rest of us ATV riders in the USA. Who would have known that these awesome exhausts were built right here under our noses?

Over the past 5 months HST have worked hard to produce the best looking, most practical, long lasting, super light, totally serviceable, totally tunable, most powerful exhaust system available on the market today.

These guys are serious, they put back into our sport which we all love so much, they have sponsored the WPSA Series and they have put up the $1000 Holeshot award per main event for the series. Here in the USA they sponsor: Chad Wienen, Harold Goodman, Jeremy Lawson, Jesse Barnes and Krista Marie. In the U.K. they sponsor Paul Winrow and his team and in South Africa they sponsor Brendan Badenhorst, Clayton Du Plessis and Leander Pienaar with their Exhausts. Deon personally manages Chad Wienen and goes out of his way to make sure their riders and customers are taken care of. If you were wondering what the link was between Goodman, Wienen and Rage ATV, its all HST’s doing. This program is up to something and its working. Chad Wienen is a new man and a force to be reckoned with. He is putting the Hammer Down! But as Deon of HST says: “It’s not just about Pipe and Motor, it’s also all about Suspension and Handling and there Chad’s PEP and Walsh equipment are in another league”

As you know here at SF Racing, we love to get our hands on the best equipment out there and are proud to announce that we have got our hands on these Exhausts and we are now selling them.

HST products include the following:

1.) THE HST R4 (FULL SYSTEM)

CHARACTERISTICS

a) If you want to roll on smoothly, the transition through bottom, mid and top is progressively smooth with quick acceleration that never stops pulling.

b) If you come on hard with the throttle wide open with a light fan of the clutch, their Exhaust System changes its personality in a split second, which will give you acceleration second to none. Their Factory race System is designed for our MX motors. Their bottom end torque, which is hard pulling progresses through mid range with a smooth but extremely fast accelerating mid range. The hit is eye watering and the top end over rev will give you a super-bike experience on your ATV.

c) Their Exhaust System is totally Tunable with interchangeable cores that start with 2 ¼ “straight cores, 2 ¼ “tapered to 2” and 2” straight cores. This versatility allows the serious rider to adjust his power bands with one system. For example: It rained the night before, you can mellow their Factory System out by changing the 2 ¼ “ core to a 2” core. This will soften the pull, smooth out the torque band, give you more traction and less wheel spin in the mud and slosh thus resulting in faster lap times and better fuel efficiency.

d.) It gets even better, you not only have the ability to change your cores but you can make your ATV a top end screamer or a bottom end tractor, by simply changing out the CNC 6061 tunable end tips, manufactured by Pro Design for HST and designed by Deon. The tunable end bits are 1 ¾ “ long and come in 2 ¼ “ straight, 2” straight, 2 ¼” tapered to 1 ¾ “ and 2” tapered to 1 ½ “. This flexibility will allow you to fine tune your HST R4 Exhaust to suit your skills and track application.

e.) The interchangeable Cores and Tunable End Tips are sold as optional extra’s, or can be purchased as a complete factory combination.

f.) BIG NOISE. It is a problem these days and the rules want us at 99db. They have developed a free flow, reverse tapered honey comb system with no restriction at 99db.

g.) All their Exhausts have removable Spark Arrestors and are USA Forestry Approved.

h.) ANTI REVERSION: They are one of the only companies in the world that applies this science in the manufacturing of their Exhaust Systems. How Does it Work? It’s their secret but what it does is it eliminates the blow back caused by the ultra sonic pulse waves of each stroke, it keeps the head cooler, creates longer wear on the exhaust valves and Oh Yeah – It Really Improves Throttle Response!!!!!

MATERIALS:

a) The Headers and Mid Pipes are stainless steel T304, Stepped Tuned and the designed lengths are finely tuned to maximize the scavenging of your motor, whether it is Stock or modified. They then go through a four stage aerospace polishing process to give it that factory high chrome finish.

b) The Cans are made of T6 050 Aluminum; they are 12” or 14” long and are One Ounce lighter than a Carbon Fiber can. They are also half an ounce lighter than a Titanium canister of the same length. Think about that for a moment! It keeps their prices lower, provides longer durability and due to it being aluminum they can custom color their cans to market trends and issue a warranty. The Cans are shot peaned to relieve all stress after the 6061 billet hanger has been welded on. This relaxes the molecular structure of their canister giving it stronger durability and a new textured look in the industry. The cans are then aerospace Hard Anodized. They offer Grey, Black and a High Gloss Silver. The red used at Mill Creek was just for show for the week-end. The cans are neatly CNC cut on a lathe giving the edges a Factory Finish. The canister inlet is 6061 Aluminum with a 3 bolt Stainless steel flange using 8mm stainless cap screws. This system is welded to the canister and after years of testing has proven to be the longest lasting, most durable, hassle free system on the market. On the other end of the can the core support is 6061 Billet and holds the core and the canister together by means of stainless steel cap screws. THEY DO NOT USE POP RIVETS AND THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT, THE EASIEST SILENCER TO REPACK.

c) The core is T304 stainless therefore no rusting!

d) The internal packing uses a “blanket / duvet “system manufactured in Germany which is not cheap but provides excellent long wearing packing and noise reduction. Its internals are made up of string type which surrounds a steel wool layer which in turn surrounds a stainless mesh which in turn is wrapped around the core and sealed in the duvet pillow type bag. No Fuss and Easy to use.

e) The Beauty End Cap comes in T6061 or Carbon Fiber. Their Carbon Fiber Beauty End Caps will be available in May 2007.

f) Their Full Exhaust System weighs 6.4 pounds. They are the lightest of their type on the market.

g) Their Exhaust Systems come bubble wrapped in a double re-enforced box.

2) THE HST QT PRO (SLIP-ON)

Their slip-on systems are made in exactly the same way as their Full Systems. The power is progressive, hard pulling with an awesome over rev. Their focus here was to develop a slip on which is quality made at the right price with all the bells and whistles except for tunability. They claim that many of their slip-ons out perform their opposition’s full systems.

3.) THE HST ADVENTURE X

Keeping with the tradition of aerospace quality and unsurpassed performance, their Utility Exhaust Systems have massive torque and are built to last.

They are building a new website so hopefully it is done soon and will have all the info needed. www.holeshottechnologies.com Reading about it, it sounds and looks like a very nice exhaust system.
