now that i'm NOT selling the 400...what to do

so, now that im keepin the quad. i have alot of stuff to do to it. i got to put about $900 into it with repairs, and then im going crazy on mods with it...


im thinking about a LSR axle, houser +2 stock travel a arms, works G series front shocks, GT thunder revalve and linkage, JE 10.5:1, stage 2 hotcam, and full yoshi system...and thats about it

450R fronts rebuilt and rear rebuilt by GT Thunder or Derisi, HiPers, a Sparks pipe, IMS tank, PRM skids and bumper, and a GPR or Precision stabelizer

Do not get the 450r shocks and get them revalved. You can find aftermarket used for cheaper.

Cheaper isn't always better, you can buy new 450r shocks have them set-up for your weight and riding style, that's much better than an aftermarket shock set up from the factory.

i was just on denton's website, and their rec arms are only $400. they look good. anyone kno anything about them? i kno their race arms are pretty sweet so i would think that these would be built pretty well too. for $400 i might have to go with them instead of the housers

hey man you can get a set of burgard a=arms for $50 ad have alot better quality anlsow you should probly get +3 insted of +2 and isted of works find a good set of used axis or ts shocks..alsow you should think about gettin some tires

the reason i would get +2s instead of +3s is because i will be doin more xc than mx...but just by changing my offset rims...i can be at either 49 inches with 3:2s or 47 inches with 4:1s.


and i dont want burgards cuz i dont want +1 forwards, and they only make them that way

oh i thought you were doing mx because then you would be at 49 with 4:1 offset if your doing xc go +2

Burgard will make you any a-arm you want dont listen to his web sight give him a call tell him Tyler and Ken dommel sent you...you wont regret using burgard stuff its top quality and you can get +2 ,+0 if you want
