If I was to line all these bikes up for a drag race, what bike do would win. Which would you prefer to buy and why.

well according to dirtwheels it will be the newest and most paying manufacturer :eek: :eek: :huh yup i said it. id get the one i like best cuz its not all about speed. maybe acceleration to top speed but not jus top speed. jus a thought

Drag race? Go buy something other than the bikes you listed. They are not built for drag racing.

So such depends on what you are going to be doing and where you ride. Drag race? Who care? So you have a 400EX and your buddy has a Raptor and he beats you in a 300 yd. drag by a few bikes.

I've said it before, you put me on a stock 400EX for a day of trail riding and I will be on the ***** of who ever is in front of me. Doesnt matter what they ride. Buy something you like and feel comfortable on and learn to ride so skill will be your tool not a quicker motor. ;)

I havent seen a predator yet but i'm going to say speed hands down with equal weight and skill riders. Put a full pipe on the raptor and it might be close.

The Speed would win and it is the one I would prefer to buy. I would buy it because it is best for my style of riding. Cannondales are hella good for fast riding, ecspecially mx.

Iv'e not seem a Predator but I would doubt very seriously that it will beat a Dale. Maybe but I doubt. I know a Dale will beat a Raptor and a Z400 in a drag though. I think the Dale vs. Predator fight will be a good one.

I've heard the pred is faster than a dale and has monster torque. Time will tell. I love my Z, but I know, in stock trim, it ain't the fastest, but she'll mod nicely to 50 ponies without strokin the motor. That's pretty good for pump gas and good reliability. I think all the bikes in the thread are good bikes also.

I didnt mean a "drag race" as in lining up in a 1/4 mile. I just meant top speed. I wanted to know which is faster.

the faster one is the c dale speed which i still dont know bout the predetor but i dont think it is as fast as the c dale;)

Nice SPEED! I've seen one run (Jay Bruton) and I must say I was impressed. Once I get rid of this twist throttle I'm gonna try to get a short race against him ;)

mags say the fastest is always the fastest **** that is out. But a c-dale and raptor r the fastest, i havnt idden a preadator but i have a rpator buddy has az then this dude i sae ridsin had a cannibal and i took it around. but the 660r and cdale is best

The predator looks just a little faster than the raptor. probably just about the same as a stock cannibal. but i am sure a dale would take mods a h3ll of a lot better that the polaris because polaris is pushing every single hp out of the predator. the C-dale, which is not a 500, is fuel injected and has a lot of power still ready to be had with a few simple mods, i.e. mapping, pipe, port and polish, and cams. it will probably be pulling 50-55 hp after that.

Wus up guys this is speedfreaky. freaky's other alter ego. You see i'm a guy with numerous personalites along with a buttload of quads that I make up. I had a 400ex but something happened to it,,I can't remember cuz it was a lie like all my other stories. mY sh1tzuki got stolen so I wrote exriders.com on the side of it to throw off the police and it werked. they never new i'm stupid and wrecked it and claimed ti stolen so I wouldn't have to pay for my mistake of given hookers rides in the woods. I now have a speed shsssss it's my nieghbors but I say it's mine cus I'm kewl. I've raced every quad ever made and won with it,,,my trx125 trike will do 101 mph in the sand with bald tires and no front wheel. I plan on takin my boyfriend i mean wife to alaska this winter and ride with alaska_jim I hear he has a big igloo and not the kind ya live in if ya know what I mean. I be talkin with you guys soon. I never know when the voices in my head let me out it just happens sometime so say high to freaky and godspeed for me even if we are the same girl,,,or guy whatever i gotta go change my depends..:huh

I think I have the Speed sold for $6500 this Sunday. I am getting a Blaze.

Being that your from Brazil i wouldn't consider a Dale if i were you, unless you have money to spare. It's just easier for us in the States to get parts and to hook-up with others who have them and who know these quads.

I XC race my predator and it has beat everything I have put it up against. Don't believe dirt wheels. Remember a few months ago when they couldn't stop talking about how great the pred was. Now Yamaha is paying the bills and it is so great.

Wasnt there an article in one of the Mags this month that said the Predator was faster in a drag race than the YFZ???:confused: I think they all are going to be close......Rider is going to play a HUGE part in a drag.I personally would rather have overall performance than just drag race but that is JMO......:)
