no put it into radical form, you know the sign that looks like a division sign and a check mark combined into one:

I have an 86 sitting here beside me, but unfortunately, it won't do that.

That is the square root of two over two, same thing as a fraction just not broken down

what level of math are you in? you should be able to do that in your head... my teachers made us learn it the hard way before we could use the calculators.

Im in trig right now, but that decimal is not a # on the unit circle that is supposed to be committed to memory, yes the example I gave was on the unit circle, but i was just showing what radical form was since someone had trouble figuring out what I was talking about, the degree measure for it is like 319.2939 or whatever, I forget now, and if im not mistaken you cant do that in your head nor memorize it... and the only reason I asked for the ti-89 is because im not allowed to use one but this was a take home assignment and I was having trouble converting it, so I was taking the "easy" way by asking someone who has one.

I was told once that, on average, the average person only uses 2% of their brains capacity!!!! The folks that figured stuff out like that are simply brilliant. Few and far between nowadays!

OO your one of those ones who likes this stuff, and calc exciting?!, lol im just glad I dont have to take it. This is my last math thankfully, just have to pass to get into physics which is exciting in itself..

and 54warrior, its not cheating, I dont have an 89, its a take home assignment, we arnt allowed to use the 89 IN class, I wasnt told to not use it out of class, so im in the clear.. loop holes, they are nice....
