i had my carb bored by a local machine shop.....its 43.25 at the bell and 43 on down but they would not bore my ring....afraid it would crack soooo i did it myself with a drimel...ring is only 41.99mm

heres the results..........not bad for a $60 bore job

this is on a trx450

thanks for the results El'Bucko!!

One thing is I do not recommend boring the OEM center venturi ring like you did (to 41.99mm). The center ring become as thin as a potato chip thin and will crack into pieces when flexed... and trust be these parts do bend when your jumping 60ft tabletops...

If I were you buck, I would purchase a center ring and change out your potato chip thin ring before your engine sucks in the pieces. JMHO
