i know the hood is a cobb job it's a stock 86 250r hood trimmed to fit, haha, i have a white plastic quadtech for the quad, but i'm waiting with that until i can afford some white plastic. doesn't have all the top of the line stuff, but it suits me well

It looks great...except for that hood... it would look better with the stocker and no headlight. Other than that the bike is awesome looking. What kind of front shocks do you have on there?

yeah, doesnt look bad,except for that hood has to go. What kind of shocks are you running also? How do those grooved tamers hook up?

well i had works triple rates with clicker rezzies on it. the works bodies blew out, so i took some 06 z400 stock bodies, had them revalved and put the triple rate springs from my 450 shocks on them, sounds like another cobb job but they actually work very well!

As for the grooved tamers they work great, i'm thinking of going to razr mx's for my next tires but i've had 3 sets of grooved tamers with no complaints really. the only thing i don't like about 18" tamers is that they are actually really small compared to 18" holeshots, tamers don't really give good mid range hookup but they give a whole lot of bottom end!

I know the hood really looks bad, but i sold all my stock headlight assembly and hood, and i don't want to mount my quadtech till i get all new plastic, which should happen soon, my plans are white plastic with the white background k&k graphics with the blue tribal flames, the white quadtech, blue beadlock rings, and i haven't decided if i'm going to powdercoat the swingarm white to match the whole chassis or do it in blue and redo my a-arms to match. I also have a lrd pipe which i've been polishing so its not on the quad, and i want to get at least a +1 steering stem since i'm a pretty tall guy!

ya i like your white frame its the only 450-r i have liked that has had it i dont know but i like it...Monster graphics nice do you have the helmet its pretty sweet only like 150

I know what you mean, my 18x9.5x8 tamers measured at 16.75" tall!!!!:eek2:

I actually think that hood doesnt look all that bad, makes it stand out..it's unique. Personally i think a white quad tech hood with the red would like nice also...sweet machine though, love the monster graphics!
