IM gettin 18 ince knarleys for my 05 400ex and i have no clue how to gear it now what sprockets to buy or nothin...let me know
it has stock gearing now

just leave it unless u really want the topend back and get bigger sprockets

Do you want more torque? If so you can either drop one tooth or just leave it stop, the smaller the tire the more bottom-end.

You're going down 10% when you get the 18's. Try it and see how you like it and make a decision then.

If you want to get back close to stock gearing, then a change from the stock 14 to a 15 will get you close to stock but you'll still be a tad lower by about 3% which will probably not be noticeable to you.
