I finally was able to get another 250 after being without for a few years, i bought it from a guys kid who said his dad was getting to old to ride/ race. very nice bike, elka, burgard all the way around, axle, ect ect. he said it was just a stock motor with one or so bores on it, bu tit seemed pretty peppy for a stock motor, i got to diggin throug the spare parts he gave me, and came across a old piston box with a size of 72.2mm. i know the stock bore is 68, so it must be a resleve right??? also the stock card was a PWK was it? i keep looking at it and it didn't seem original and them saw PWK casted in it. can anyone tell me how big a bore it have.

You have a 72.2mm bore!

Not sure about your cc's though, you'd need stroke for that too.

actually the stock bore is 66mm 246cc's, stock carb wasn't a pwk either. Does it have alot of hoses to it, or 2-3 going down. There is a good chance you have a pwk 38 a/s or 39 pwk. Yes, its pretty common to resleave a stock cylinder to 72mm, max bore being 73.5mm. If you have a 72.5mm bore, then you have 297cc motor.

I'll have to check on the # of hoses, as far as i know it has the stock crank, no spacer plate or anything, and the box said a bore of 72.2mm. If this is the actually case, i got a heck of a deal, I only paid 2750 for it, plus i was able to get a title!

I'm not sure about this, but I sure thaught that being resleved to the the 72mm range got you into thr 310 big bore class
