Foam filters work better for me. I have a k&n to get rid of if ur intrested.

Comparing new with new it doesn't matter, Foam or K&N. But foam filters get clogged much faster than K&N ones. Thst's from trys and errors....

I've own both K&N and UNI filters. Cost, Performance, Filtration, and Ease of Cleaning make the UNI filter the clear choice. I'll never own another K&N filter.

It has been proven that a k&n filter flows more brand new then any other foam filter, but k&n left out a couple of things.

They tested it on a dry filter. In actual offroad conditions when your filter is properly oiled, a uni flows just as well.

And as 400ex_BG_Rider said, the uni is so much easier to clean.
