modded my pegs

i recently took off my heel guards and i liked it that way so much i decided im going to leave them off for good. then i remembered that my buddy has a pair of stock 450r pegs not in use. i gave him 20 bucks for them and came up with this..

i thought about doing the same thing also im not much a welder though you think it will help out with no heel gaurds?

i did this about 2 years ago with another set of 450r pegs i got on ebay for $13 or something

ah im not much of a welder, but my uncle has been doing it his entire life, hes the man behind it:p i tried my hand at welding once at his place once and ill say i need more practice.

this weekend im going riding twice, one to an mx track/tight trails then another time in some really rough woods so they will go through thier paces for durability, especially with my 200lb butt on them!

That's crazy my bike has the same exact thing done to it. My DG Nerf Bars only cover the front of the pegs as well. I like mine your gonna love it.

Becareful...I did this a year or so ago on my Z and the peg broke clean off on the landing of a 50ft table right next to the weld. Not a fun landing.
