I recently purchased an 06 450er and I want to put a good Aftermarket exhaust on it. In the past I have had Big Gun and Curtis Sparks Exhaust on an 01 Raptor but I was just looking at what people have to say about fit and performance of these two companies and others on the 450. I know this has probably been asked on here before but I thought I would try to get current info out of anyone that had an opinion.

Thanks
Doug

very happy with my rossier.

performance, sound, and great craftsmanship.
I was looking into the dasa (wich I think is another good choice)
but the availability was a problem.

I have run DASA and Rossier before and both are great choices. We have run HMF as well, but it was not on par with either the Rossier or the DASA IMO. The Rossier does very well on our 06/07 bikes, and for $390 shipped it is definitely hard to beat.

Rossier is a great pipe. Only downfall is they're pretty loud, but they make a huge power difference. I run a full Sparks on my 04 and that is a great pipe also.

Rossier does make a nice exhaust it is loud but for the 06/07 they make a quite kit that will keep it at 98 dcbls. Dasa is nice also but like someone said availibility is an issue. Sparks, HMF, BUB, would be an option also.

Anyone that tells you a Rossier without the quite core isn't that loud is lying...I have one on my 06 and that baby is the loudest exhaust I have ever owned.....a buddy of mine says its sounds just like a Harley.....

But for 390 for a full system you can't beat the price or the performance. I don't even have a cam yet and it already woke up the lazy stock 450....when you come from a full aftermarket 250R to a bone stock 06 450R the 450R is lazy

I've got a DMC slip on exhaust on the 450R and it's of good quality and sounds nice and deep with out upsetting the neighboors. But I just put a Whitebrothers E2 exhaust on the Z and I couldn't be anymore happy with it. It comes with two differrent caps. On for parks and the other for Competion and sounds a lot louder. Now I can chose if I want to tick off the neighboors or not. The Quality of the Whitebrother is outstanding! Easy to repack. I just cant say enough about this Whitebrother E2 exhaust. The E2 cost me $359. Here's a pic of both. Anything is better than Stock!
