we have a nice flat track where we ride and i notice after riding my buddies new z400 and then riding my bike. his bike the front end seemed to be real stable and mine is not all over the place but moves around alot and kinda of shaky compared. What can i do to fix this besides getting a steering stablizer. Is it just of age and cause his bike is new.

you need to set your toe up. sounds like it might be toed in a little bit. it should actually have a very little bit if toe-out, if not then it will cause the front end to start moving back and forth at high speeds, especially where you have traction.

front end all over the place

Same thing happened to me when I started drinking beer and eating donuts!

If you had a belly as big as me, that coke would have never reached the screen.

You should not have toe out! Toe in keeps the quad trackin in a straight line, if you had toe out it would make it take off every which way!

Check the air in your tires and make sure all your bolts are tight. Then check your toe. I like it pretty straight myself. If none of this works invest in a steering stabilizer.

you should want 2 degrees of toe in. it helps to turn a bit quicker and rides great. also, i would get a steering dampner/stabilizer. crank it all the way hard to. it will take a while to get used to, but you wont understand how you rode without one.

I'll have to check the toe on the bike. Yesterday i was clening my bike up and did notice that i have two nails in my front right tire. Could this through off the balance of the bike and cause this problem? When were riding on sunday my buddy had a nail in his front of his bike so i probably pick them up at the same place.

how well do plugs hold up in tires. I'm really pissed cause the fronts are 3 weeks old.
