Don't use any power accessories and you should be able to go a couple hundred miles I would think.

you should be able to get about 50 miles with out useing any electronics. i've done that a few times cause my alt belt always used to come off my old car. but try to get an alt as soon as you can.

Usually anywhere between 30 and 60 minutes.

Maybe. But you also need to factor in time to let the engine warm up, and you're running significantly higher revs (which takes more energy).

I would do some serious testing.

Don't you guys ever watch the Auto Zone commericials?

But other than that, I'd say about 40-50 miles without any electronics.

If your gonna race it then buy an alternator. Your going to loose enough power because of the low voltage that its gonna hurt ya in the long run.

We run drag cars without alternators... We run mostly 1/8 mile tracks but between driving to the staging lanes, burnouts, and the run itself we charge the car between every run. If your set on not running an alternator then make sure you have a GOOD battery, especially with what your doin. Id look into an Optima Yellow top.
