Friend of mine works with an insurance company now and he told me there were like 14 ltr450's that fell off of a trailer in their crates. they all sold really cheap. Im sure they were still in decent shape considering they were in there crates.

I wish he had told me earlier:mad:

it should work if you go to google and type in auctions + your zipcode. see if that works. we have an auction site about 45 minutes to my house. ive only been to one before. but, here is a link to the last auction that took place: http://www.treas.gov/auctions/customs/0746200.html

thats all the stuff that sold or didnt. i dont see any good deals. i found this page and i went crazy
http://www.treas.gov/auctions/customs/0627388.html
look at the price of that gt500. oh thatd be so sickkk. some of the cars went for pretty high but considering what kind they are (maybach, lambos, ferrari's etc, thats pretty good)

good luck at your auction if you find one. the one i went to had a ds650, 300ex, 400ex, and a couple of other quads. they were all brand new too. they sold for just under retail price so there was no real reason to buy them...youd be surprised on how many people actually go to these things

My buddy just bought a 2003 Suburban from an auction . The vehicle was a repo .... sticker price from the lot was over $65 000 Canadian ( this vehicle is loaded) .... it's got 70 000 KMs and he bought it for $21 000 CND.

He practically stole it !!!!!

See if you can find a u.s. treasury auction near you. They sell all the stuff the government seizes from convicted criminals (drug dealers, etc...) You could probably find some serious deals there.

At the local repo auction stuff usually brings it's worth. What I've noticed, and it's probably true anywhere, is the more you spend, the more you save. If something is worth $1000 at this place, you might get it for between $750-$900. If something is worth $10,000 you might get it for $7500-$9000. Then there's always those deals that you can't believe. I watched a 198? Porsche with just over 100k miles on it go for just under $600. It was in good shape too....leather interior, manual, decent tires, ran good, no rust. I just bought a 300ex from that same auction the week before or I would have brought me home a Porsche:macho

you can find a better deal on ebay than at those auctions...dont get me wrong thare is a deal here and there, but many are bought and shipped to different markets so they tend to sell a little higher...

You can find some deals on repo items sometimes. I've bought quads, boats, campers and vehicles all from repo auctions. My last buy was an 02 yamaha kodiak 400 4x4 for $1300. It was a good lookin quad also. I used to buy all the quad/bike repo's from all our local banks. You might call a few of your local banks and see if they have something like your looking for.
