want to install toggle switch

i want to install a toggle switch to replace the key switch on my 2004 400ex, i have looked through all the previous posts related to this but they dont seem to help. there is four wires.....red, black, black/white, and green. does anybody know how exactly to wire these up in a toggle switch?

I dont know if this actually works, got it from another thread. " I unplugged the switch then ran a wire from the red wire prong to the black wire prong." You just put a switch in between.

heres a schematic. the ignition switch is a little different. when it is off the green and black\white are connected. this connects to the ground to kill the engine. when on, the red and black connect to provide power to evereything.

so in your case you could just switch the red and black but you would have to use your kill switch on the handlebars to kill it (i think)
