I Have a 250X Bottom End 300EX top End I know I need to put a 300 rod in My ?is will the 300 rod fit on the 250 crank or do i need to put in the rod and crank out of a 300 if so will it fit Ive been working on this 4 awhile but I finaly fig out the the stroke on the 300 is 65.5mm to the 250 witch is 57.3mm I got it to start but thats it that is when I found out about the stroke diff any help would B app

A 300ex crank will NOT fit your 250x bottom end.The cylinder and head is common between the two.If you want the 300ex displacement(282cc) then you need to get a stroker kit done on your crank.Changing the rod will not increase your stroke.;)
