View Full Version : need nasty crash pictures for speech

im giving a persuasive speech on monday on the importance of helmets in the on/off road powersports community. i decided to make a powerpoint that kind of uses the 'shock effect' to get and keep the audiences attention. just wondering if any of you could help me find pictures of crash victims that weren't wearing a helmet, whether they were on a dirtbike, streetbike, atv, or snowmobile (although they would freeze without a helmet). If the images are simply too gross to post on here, please PM them to me. i will decide what the audience can handle and what they cant. my speech professor will love it!:p thanks everybody.

tried it. i found pictures of wrecked bikes, but no actual wounds. there was a thread last week that had pictures of a ktm crash that was pretty grotesque. that would be perfect! but i think the thread was deleted.. i just need some sort of visual aid to go along with this speech. i was hoping i could show the effects of not wearing a helmet.

There was a post not to lomg ago with someguy that wreck a bike and tore his body in half. Might be to nasty tho.

he was just saying that...i haven't actually seen crashes with head injuries though...just stuff to the body

i'll actually take anything. any type of injury helps to show what can happen if the machines are not respected. as for being too gross, i'll tell people to look away if they cant handle it. any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I think that guy that got ripped in half is alittle too graphic personally, but hey thats how you get points a cross to people. I think if people seen that pic they would start wearing helmets everywhere.

those pictures would be perfect since this class kinda teaches you to use the extreme to make the audience really think. if i were still in my high school speech class i would never use stuff like that. now i'm looking for crashes during holeshots, aftershots of the bikes or quads, and basically anything that helps show the need to respect the machines you're riding.

Pipeless, I found a website wreckedexotics.com that shows pics of wrecked cars but no bodies or anything. You will be stunned at the damage of these cars too, some of them make you guess how they did it.

alright thanks guys! this stuff is definitely usable. even if i cant find specifically head injuries, i'll still be able to illustrate the importance of taking caution. i'm actually excited to give this speech haha.

50mph into a tree lol. It was acually the chest protector that helped me. I got nailed with the bars and the bars acually kept me on the quad....lol.
