Cell Phone / Ringtone Question.

So I have an LG VX8100 with the mp3 player and all that junk. My friends have the newer version of the phone and when they recieve tunes/songs/media, they can set it as a ringtone. Like 99% of the other people i talk to can do the same, yet I can't for some reason. Is there a way to set it so that I recieve them as ringtones or does my phone just suck? :confused:

its ur phone. only some phones allow you to save it as a ringtone to actual use as a ringtone. it sucks :o but my phone you can. so im good lol

I have the VX 8300 (newer one of yours) and I get free ringtones sent to me as a Pix message and go to options and its says save as ringtone.

You might not be able to do it with the older ones.

If u want to set a song u recorded as a ringtone all u have to do is have a phone capable of recording and then then the sound back to your own number, should work on any phone capable of voice recording, i think there is a way to set ringtones u received on ur phone, my friend has the same one
