tires

i have a 300ex and i was wondering if i will loose a lot of top end if i go with 20 " tires or if it will wind out to fast

yes you will lose some top speed and it will wind out faster also.

The trade off is not as bad as you would think... I went from 22's to 20's on my old 300 and I liked the extra push off the bottom...
I then further bought a 14 tooth front sprocket and I would throw it on depending on where we was riding... But most of the time the 13 stayed on...
