I am having a tc shorty exhaust made for my gf's 300ex right now. I am thinking it would be nice to have the header and rear megaphone part coated like a jethot coating or something so it doesnt get rust when the paint burns off like one I saw at a local shop one time. Anyone have any suggestion on where to have an exhaust coated with something like that?

if you do it,coat the inside.you will reap alot more benifits from an internally coated exhast then you will outside.

ill keep that in mind. ceramic coating is what I want to have done... dont know where... mainly for looks so it doesnt get all rusty and nasty looking... performance gains are a plus too

I got mine done at jet hot coatings took about 3 days to get the inside and outside coated. Was it worth it maybe but I reccomend you do not get the sterling silver coating, not that its not good but I like my header looking good but after a few rides it starts to dull luckily for me jet hot told me that the sterling silver can be polished and look like when I got it done in December of 2006. But for $70.00 cant beat it it does cool down faster does it add horsepower I cant tell by riding it maybe if I put it back on the dyno I could see a difference.
