Does any of yall think I could fab up a kit to mount a plow to a 300EX? Like would it actually be able to plow or would it just be a waste of time. Its not for me its for a friend of mine thats looking at buying it and wants to plow his driveway if possible.

It would pretty much be a waste of time I would think.

Lack of 4wd would be a little bit of an issue. But if you got sime tire chains it would help.

My buddie made a plow for his rancher. Its basicly a round metal trash can. Like what greese comes in. smaller than a 55gallon drum. Well he cut it in half and used it for the scoop. then built the rest of the bracing out of scrap pieces of steel, then used the winch to raise/lower it.

Also, depending on the weight of the plow, it could be too heavy and lift all of the traction off of your rearend, and you wouldnt have hardly any traction to plow with.

What he said. You'd have to rig up some kind of sandbag box on the rear end to get enough weight to even move uphill.. lol. ;)

Now, rigging up a snowblower to the front end.. now that would be sweetness.. lol. You'd definatly need to do the reverse mod though, or you'd be spending more time jacking with reverse than removing snow.. lol.
