We had just set up a guy with a high compression piston that he requested, Going from a 9.2:1 comp to a 11:1 it ran great after the build, Now he stats its backfiring and shotting a flame out of pipe. It also has a Big Gun exhaust on it. Anybody have any suggestion what do, does it net jetted or fuel need adjusted. Also the fuel light on the dash comes on, and stays on. Help out please.

Is he running any kind of programmer or EFI tuner? If not theres your problem. THe bike needs to be tuned on a dyno and have the fuel map checked. Also could be possible a need for a larger injector.

no the pc3 is not like a hypertec
the atv one is just reseting the map and if you look at th software you can see where is is riching and leaning out the map
they have map that would get you close any you can ajust form there but the best and right way to do it is to put it on a dyno.
