get yourself a set of 450r shocks, get a widened axle(g force $200). that should get you started in the right direction for under 500.
widened axle?
how does that work? can i install myself?
Also, 450r shocks? wouldn't honda stock parts be kind of expensive? Or are you talkin about takeoffs?

I have a 700$ durablue axle, it helps me turn extremely better.
I can do a U-turn on a 6 foot road without going off the pavement.
and i also installed it myself, its verrry easy.
hmmm that axle does seem like a nice upgrade.
Does it come with instructions? Is the install pretty much loosen up some kind of retaining nuts against the swingarm, beat out the old axle and install the new?
For 200.00 you really can't complain about a wider stance.

for a axle i would go with lonestar. they are only about $350 and come with a unbreakable warranty. as for 450r shocks, look on ebay. and also look into a set of stock 88-89 honda 250r a arms, they will fit a 400 and give you about 2 inches wider in the front

G-Force Axle's have life time warranties too and they are only $200. If you break it or bend it they will send you a new one free. According to Team axle company The G-force is stronger than the axcalibur and the durablue eliminator.

$700 for a durablue? Is that a joke? RAD titanium ones I dont think are even that much! Either you're lying or you got ripped OFF!!! I hope it came with lube.
as far as driveability I would put a good set of tires on and a comfy set of handlebars. Next would be suspension.

Yea, that made it very tempting.
I might go with that axle when i get the cash rounded up.
I might look into 450 shocks, but i dont know about spending 3-4 on stock honda components, ill probably buy some aftermarket ones.
a steering stabilizer will help out a lot also
