hard starting!!!!

i have a 400ex and it is already having problems starting and it is only like 45 degrees. i already put in a 42 pilot jet (21 series). i don't know if this is too big or too small but the stock 38 seems to start the bike just as easy. any suggestions? thanks

don't use the choke..make sure the gas is turned on,,pump the throttle 2 or 3 times and hit the starter..if you mess with the choke it'll give you problems..
