View Full Version : Edelbrock carb or HRC kit

I was wondering what you would do first, put an edelbrock FCR carb or put on an HRC kit. any input would will be appreciated.

I would go with the HRC. The carb will benefit the most only if you are planning on doing work to the motor (piston, cam, etc.)

The Edelbrock carb is not an FCR. The FCR is made by Keihin.

Get the HRC kit before you start changing carbs.

do a search on this site for hrc kit and you will get the pros and cons. with the hrc kit. the best money i have spent on mine so far has been the hrc kit.

Don't get an Edelbrock carb. Period. They are the worst thing I have bought for one of my quads up and to this point...I honestly think that the stocker is better performing!

The HRC kit is by far the way to go. The difference between even a piped and filtered 450r is just incredible.

The hrc is the way to go. I can't believe how much of an improvement a good slip on makes with the hrc kit.

so whats the best slip-on
