450 carb

sup guys i have a question. I brought my quad to a place where there gonna bacisally jet my carb for me and all that stuff. . I have a 2001 440ex. I put a 450 carb on it. Now, they said that in order for the carb to run they need to get the hot start on the 450 carb working. Is this true? Let me know. Thanks.

no it is not true. most people just plug the hot start whole, you do no need it on the 400

They don't know what they are talking about. Just buy some silicone from walmart and fill the hole up. Thats what I did works like a charm.
