I want some razrs 2s but i don't know what is the best size for me.

I do mostly trail riding and get really really muddy most of the time. Since all my friends have foreman 4x4's. The only problem i have is my swing arm skid bottoms out on the ruts the 4x4s make, and i have to push. Which i don't mind pushing cause i have a blast. However i do some drag racing and jumping and wheelies and stuff at a local ATV Park.

So they only come in 20's or 22's. I could use the extra clearance from the 22's but i don't want it to lose most of my power. So i just don't know what to do!!

Would the 20's grip enough for me to do better in the mud than my almost wore out stock tires??

Well first of all they r Razr's. If u get the 22's u should get a 14 tooth sprocket. But i would go with 20's

I agree on the 14th sprocket but if you only ride trails id go with the 22".Where i ride youll be pushing alot if you have 20"

hm... you do mostly trails and sometimes drags and stuff, i would say go with the 22's and go one tooth size down on the front sproket so you will act gain a little low end and still keep the top end with the larger tire, i put a 12 on my 250 and it is great for accel and hills and excel for trails, you want low en grunt if your doin trails and heavy mud and seldom jumpin and playin around, you said you didn't want to loose any power, so i say go with the 22's and a 12 tooth sprocket, you won't really loose much top end, if any at all cuz the bigger tire radius

wait, your riddin a 400, i thought it was a 300 for some reason, ya, def go with 22's and a 14 up front, sorry, my bad, my dad's friend has a 400 and he put the 22 holeshot's on and it hasn't effected power, but when you think of it he has almost every aftermarket part you can find for a 400, he's still lookin for a blower and to get it ported and polished, then he can't do anything else to the motor

Thanks for the help guys!!

I could really use the extra 2"s of clearance.

If i race a stock 400ex and i got the 22's would we be side by side all the way pretending i don't have my power kit??

Is that a Renthal 14th up front??

Any of you had experiece with Razr 2's??

I disagree, I would go with the 20's Razor 2's, they have a tall nob on them anyway, 22's would be just to darn big.

22's up front and 20's in the back,,unless you want a desert racer like mine with 23's up front and 22's out back...I love the tires I have but when you get in tight turns the quad wants to tip..:(

go for the 22s in the back and 23s up front, that will give u max ground clearance. If u need more power, get the 416 kit or somethin like that.

Go with the 22 fronts, and 20 rears. The 21 inch fronts are nice in real tight turny stuff, but they tend to make the ride a little more harsh, becuse the smaller the tire the more they wanna fall into the little holes in the trail. The 22s may not turn AS SHARP but after running the 21s i will stick with the 22s. 22inch rears will ill power, especially on a stock quad. I would go with 20inch rears. 20inch is the choice for almost anyone that races the GNCC races, and those ruts are a **** of alot worse then jsut on a regualr trail. You will find that u will actually get more ground clearance from the 20 inch razrs then the stock ohtsus, because when u get on the power those radials will actualyl squat alot more, and therefore loss of clearance. The razrs are stiffer tires, and wont lower as much when under power.
Hope i helped

what kind of mods do you have on the bike

if you go with 22's in back you should put 23's up front, but the larger tire will take away a very small amount of bottom end and will weigh the front down making it a little harder to pull whellies and stuff

and why don't you just spend a few extra bucks and go with the holeshot tires, they are very good tires, i'm satisfied with mine

and both the razors and holeshots are heavier duty which weighs more, 4 ply up front and 6 ply in back for both tires

Only mods i have so far are jetted and k&n with outerwear....

i've only had my bike for a month or so!! So i haven't had time or money to get into too much...

I'm deff going to get the 20in razr 2's in the back, that should be fine. I could use the clearance but the bigger nobs would help alot. I like being fast and riding wheelies, i mean if i didn' t i would have got a foreman....HAHA

I'm going to get skid plates in a week or so PRM a-arm, chassis, and swingarm skids......
