I started making the table top in front of the dining hall wider today. I'll have it done tomorrow.

Tracks are in great shape for the spring opener. Remember we have a cook out planned for 1pm on Sunday - Make sure you stop riding long enough to enjoy some pit beef or pulled pig.

That jump has been here a while, it did get the extra landing in the middle of it back in the fall. It's the same table it always was I just built up the first half of it so there would be a lander in the middle for anyone not clearing it. The downhill ski jump is the same way - with a lander in the middle.

Sunday morning 7:00 am Sky is clear and the rain appears to be missing us. Come on out and enjoy the riding and free cook-out today at 1pm.

jeff is a soldier. when i walked up to him he was in much pain and honestly, you would have expected him to stand up and walk it off as he never let on how much pain he was in. the man is a rock.

he has been in this game a long time and this isnt the first injury of this nature, and he has always come back and dominated his class in the nationals, and i hope he can do it yet again!

Yeah man!

I had the chance to meet a few new site members and riders during another great BPG weekend. Dan and Amanda greeted us with the fantastic hospitality we are all used to and the Sunday lunch was excellent.

The changes to the tracks provided some new challenges to be overcome in the upcoming season yet Dan kept a lot of the original track intact. I especially like the new wider downhill! :D

A big thanks to my friends KH426 and gbcap for their help with my quad and to the Papster for stayin up to take care of the pig on Sat. night.

And to Don & Lisa for letting me bunk up in their fine new Adrenaline camper. That sure beats the back of the van!:macho

wow, these are some incredible pics!!!! This weekend was a lot of fun at Breezewood. Although, I think my bike was getting worked on more than I was riding :ermm: I couldn't even ride on Sunday because my CDI box burnt up. Oh, well...I'll be back soon for another fun weekend!!

It was nice to meet Rich and thanks to the Freak (I don't know your real name!) for helping push start me and making sure I was ok when my chain popped off :)

Well, the Spring Fling turned out to be another who's who among ATVrider members including Dunk. Dunk broke in Dan’s new 60' double at the Clubhouse track. This jump is do or…well just make sure you do. Paul Gregg and Zack Winters made sure they did and get big thumbs up!!! Only 3 people cleared it all weekend. Luckily, Dan put a nice tabletop in next to it for the weekend warriors like me. The great thing about Breezewood is Dan caters to all riding levels…you have a choice to ride at your level and it makes for a better riding experience. When Dunk is on your butt and you are coming to the uphill 65’ you have a choice…get on the throttle or take the nearby tabletop. I know Dan is working on an idea for a bypass jump for the the 80' tabletop.

For those who decided to hold off not coming on Sunday due to weather forecasts, once again DAN WAS RIGHT. It rained for about an hour around 9-10. weather.com was calling for a 70% chance of rain from noon to 2:00...there wasn't any. It lightly sprinkled once around 3:00 and then again very late in the day when only 3 riders were still on the track. The tracks were in great shape…perfect traction and zero dust all day Sunday. After a day of riding, my quad took 10 minutes to clean up with the pressure washer.

The new step-up jump on the Clubhouse track is awesome…the lander is so smooth you don’t need shocks…which is pretty amazing because I am mid-throttle in 4th gear when I hit it. 3 quads could easily jump at once without any fear of hitting each other.

There is nothing like spending the entire weekend riding and chatting around the camp fire in the evening. I got a chance to catch up with all the members who regularly attend as well as meeting new members. The post would be too long to mention all the members!!! Kelly Winters was out riding Saturday representing the women. She was apparently too hard on her quad because it wanted no part of her on Sunday...it decided to play sick. She got to video tape Zack honing his skills…of course I tried to get in the pictures when I could even if it meant cutting the track. :D Barry was riding as smooth as ever after his back surgery.

Once again, Pappy took great shots of the action and spent the night with the pig. . The pig roast started promptly at 1:00 as promised and all the food was great. Amanda even made a huge portion of baked ziti Saturday night with leftovers on Sunday...pasta is always a big hit with me! It was a bit chilly for those not riding so Dan had an all day camp fire going by the dining hall.

For those who didn't make it, I highly recommend making it to Breezewood...especially for the ATVrider weekends. The next official ATVrider weekend is May 5-6. The more you attend, the more you get to know everyone. Soon, you will have a home away from home like I do. I traveled 6 hours to be there on Saturday and then 6 hours back Sunday evening. I can only tell you it is well worth it. I will be back plenty of times throughout the summer.

Thanks again to everyone. Dan will be ready for the next ride with his newest ride!

Wow, i just got home last night and had to catch up on some school work. So this is the first time i could get on. I would deffinetly like to thank dan and amanda for running such an awesome facility.BPG is just the place man, some of you guys who havent ridden there obviously dont even know what you are missing out on. Even if you aren't the best rider, none the less, even if you arent riding. I' m sudre alot of you guys saw the big kid on the kx 125. Thats me. I was'nt riding alot this weekend because i have been under the weather, but just sitting in the bleachers and talking to all the riders is awesome.

I mean it was amazing watching dunk rail those burms, I went nuts when i watched it on film, He looked like a spider or something. Just so fast. But one thing that deffinetly inspired me all weekend was that kid on the kx250. I forgot his name, His number was 781 and he was faster than dunk, Unblelievable. Believe it, he was only 16.

I would first of all like to thank dan and amanda again for running such a great place, I would like to thank pappy (ken) for getting that pig done for us sat night and to all of those who braught a dish to the pig roast. I would like to thank kevin, I think his username is kh426 and some of his buddies for helping me out with my bike fouling plugs. And i would also like to thank all of the people that make bpg the place it is.

A BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT TO RIDE AND SHOW SUPPORT AT OUR FIRST GET TOGETHER OF 2007.

We had an incredible turnout, and great weather!! Sorry I wasn't able to get out and ride with everyone. This early in the season I still have alot of work to do to getting everthing up and running. I look forward to getting my quad back soon and getting out there to check out all the great new jumps.

I have some people I'd like to thank for helping to make this a great weekend.

Pappy of course, who captured the entire weekend on film for us all to remember !!!! Pappy's wife Bridgett who worked in the kitchen all weekend making sure everyone was fed. Pappy's brother Kevin Hill who fixed everything I broke - ha ha, I'm hard on stuff. All the people who donated food, especially Jen Burke who, as usual brought plent of food for everyone - including chocolate chip cookies - my favorite. Many other people kicked in to get the little jobs done, including The Rich Carpenter, shhhteeeve, and Randy, and Jon Kelly who drove all the way from North Carolina. And last but not least - I'd like to thank all the great people who pitched in to help our fallen riders this weekend - Especially Tina Wilt who drove an injured rider that she doesn't know 45 minutes away to the hospital. (Tina is Josh Wilts Mom - Josh was the kid ripping it up on the kx250 #781)

...........I can't forget to thank my honey Amanda who did an incredible job pulling everything together for a great weekend.

...........Almost forgot - A big thanks to Pro Rider #19 Jason Dunkelberger for coming out Saturday and spending the day riding and hangin' out with our riders. Dunk is a great guy, incredible rider and a great promoter of our sport. Dunks friend and fellow racer Jeff Thompson came out Saturday and had an unfortunate accident on the dining hall jump that left him with a broken leg. I've never seen such strength and courage from someone who was surely in alot of pain. Jeff we all wish you a very speedy recovery.
