wierd starting?

do youn guys ever have a weird delay from the time you press your starter switch to the time your bike turns over?

well, mine doesnt always turn right over, sometimes its pretty hesitant. doesnt start as easy as the honda 450r i had w/ a kick start.

ok good :) in a bad way....... i dont feel left out....... mine starts right up but sometimes the starter doesnt instantly turn over

Check your battery cables & ALL of your grounds to see if something is loose. Ray.

wat i mean is that its like 1 second or half second delay compared to my 400ex

My money is on the battery. There have been several of us with bad batteries.

Throw a full charge on that sucker and see what happens.

I had to replace my battery after only 3 months.

One of my friends does the same thing also. The starter doesn't turn, no click nothing,, just a 1-2 second delay before anything happens. Still does it even when on a charger. Mine never has though.
