Im in the process of doing it now.
Get any honda taillight with a brake light in it. The newer 300ex tail light from an 07 look real good, bright and LED,and hook right up to the rubber snubbers in back. The wiring is mostly homemade. The ends of the connectors are different, so chop off the plug from the tail light, put a 3mm bullet connector on the green and brown wire and the color coding is the same on the bikes wiring both tail light(brown) and ground (green). The extra wire is the stop lamp. String a new wire to the brake switches, add power, and its over.
Im using a 05 400ex brake switch for the front, havent got it yet, but should bolt right up. For the rear brake i got the hydralic banjo bolt switch from dennis kirk, its the single outlet, m10 x 1.25 threaded one. Replace the rear master cylinder banjo bolt with this one, and hook the wires up.
