I was just wonderin how to pc your stock a-arms with the ball joints in the a-arm, dont they get ruined when you heat the a-arm for the pc ?

I have been told that if you pc you stock a-arms with ball joints it ruins them because the heat melts,i think a plastic bushing or something plastic in there.

ya i knew that, but i want to know how they do it with the ball joint still in the a-arm
they don't ...if you see stock a-arms that are different colrs, they are spray painted, not pc-ed

Ive seen ppl with stck a arms pc'ed. i Believe they are either removable or replacable.however I may be wrong

you cannot replace or change stock 400ex a-arm ball joints

if they are pc'ed the ball joints will be ruined in a few rides. The heat from the oven melts the plastic bushing inside and bakes the grease out.

I guess that makes since. Y would you want to pc the stock ones anyways. Just get some new ones.

I have black powdercoated A-arms, and the process destroyed all of my ball joints. I was ready for this problem, so it's all good. Just thought I'd throw some personal experience out there. Also, if anyone wants anything about PC-ing explained to them, I'm well educated on the topic.
