Honda guys think they are fast blah blah blah nobody cares.....On paper the z/kfx will out perform the ex because of twin cams, liquid cooled simple upgrades suzuki made to the ex. On the ground it's all rider, don't post retarded stuff like this anymore blah blah blah......im out

thank you z rider you took the words right out of my mouth lol that is completely true the z is faster but if your a better rider than the other guy then you will probably beat him but yes out of the factory z is faster than ex so you honda guys need to get over it no offense but you all know that the z is faster. not trying to say anything bad about honda but i do like there quads i planned on getting an ex in the first place but im happy with my z

agreed, suzuki is faster, i mean ur lookin at suzuki's couple year old technology compared to honda's basicly 10 year old technology.:blah: but still......... RIDE RED!:muscle:

both are the same with same motors. only thing different is color. these bike are okay but i like my z in the woods. other wise i would want a 450

First off the Kawi and Suz are the same thing excepte for the Kawi has the front hood thing on the lights. Same with the DVX, it is all suzuki just with the Kawi and Arctic cat names. Why do you think they discontinued the kawi? Cause suzuki and kawi arent working together anymore.

And as for that qout, get your facs right the Suzuki LTR450 is the best quad out their hands down. Siting on a stock TRX is just like a stock Z but a stock LTR is like sitting on a TRX with about $2000+ in it. Their is no comparison.

Actually, a kfx/z400 will own a trx400! And, the kawi is abput 2-3 mph faster! Both dirt wheels and atv sport confirmed that! And the kawi's suspension is a tad softer because of longer break-in period at the factory! WEIRD!!! But after some riding, the suzuki gets softer! These are true facts, the factory will even tell you so!

Hahaha Honda breaking down. THey are like thanks, they last forever, but the z is proven to be faster but not by much. And the kawi and the z are the same thing besides some minor things like the hood.

You have to compaire apples to apples. The Predator has over 100 cc over the LTZ/KFX. Thats like comparing a Ford Focus to a Mustang. By the way all three atv are the same just the plastics are different. Also its how fast the bike is it's how much skill you have. OUT

the z and kfx are faster and better suspension stock then a 400ex.

what kind of dumb *** would buy a kfx 400 instead of a z400? if a company has a 4 wheeler made by a diff company, si uure as hell have common sense not to buy the kawi cuz there not smart enough to make there own, so i would go z not kfx its obvious...but a trx is the most reliable out of all 400's and has the better history and more time being made so there for no bugs.

Actually, holtzer1, it's true! I didn't believe it either and then I got a dirt wheels mag and an atv sport mag with a 400cc class comparison and both mags said that the kawi is faster but not by much and they asked the factory about the softer suspension and the FACTORY EVEN SAID that the kawi has a long break-in period on the suspension! If you don't believe me, give me your e-mail and I'll send you pics of the article where you can read it!!! And the company SUZUKI does own Kawasaki, but if I'm not mistaken, Kawi's are still made in a different plant!

suzuki does not own kawasaki nor do the z and kfx come out of the same factory. The two companys worked together for several years so kawi could take the z blueprints and suzuki could take the praries (hence the twin peaks 700). And it is possible for some quads of the same type to be a little faster than others for various reasons. There are even z400s that are faster stock than each other. It all has to do with the conditions of break in and alot of other tiny differences. the same goes for the suspension, its all about break in.

We are not saying that they are the same company, its that Suzuki made the KFX 400 for 3 years. I own a 06 KFX 400 and on the frame theres a tag that states manufacturer by Suzuki.

I believe that they are being called the same company.

Kawasaki, as part of the agreement to blueprint the Z-400, was required to use the frame that was produced in the Suzuki plants, but the actual production of the KFX-400 was done in the Kawisaki plants, If you dont believe me then just check with Kawasaki themselves.
