The only person that i know of that is making a decent cover is Kenny from Pro-Fab. I'll see him at the Texas National this weekend and get his business phone number if you'd like.

Give us a call on Tuesday and i'll have his number for you.

Look us up and i'll show you the one Kenny made for ours and if Kenny is around we'll introduse you.

Burgandy F-350 white trailer. Our Pro riders are sitting this one out getting ready for the WPSA so we'll have just minis around.

Our DRX hood fits over the Apex, A lot of apex owners all ready have them and say it fits just as well as on the DRX.
Sorry I dont have a picture of it on one yet but here is the drx pic.

Apex makes an aluminum mesh insert to bolt in place of the headlight...I think any Apex dealer should be able to get it:

If anyone needs the design we can fax it or mail it to you for the cost of an envelope and a stamp.

Here is a pic of the Gen-X hoods on an Apex and a DRX (both use the same hood pattern) Very easy to install and Gen-X was very quick about getting them to me.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm looking for options to doing this for my son's Apex while we have it torn down for the winter. The mesh thing looks pretty trick and easy. Can i get that template? PM me and I'll give you my fax number. What kind of mesh is that and where would I find it if I were to look in a Home Depot?
